Press Event Doha, Qatar

On May 11th, 2022, at 12.00, the event of the European Project “CHICK LEADERS” was held in Doha, at deli Mediterranean Fusion Restaurant.

The event was attended by a large number of people, consisting mainly of representatives of major meat & poultry import companies, bloggers, wholesalers, retailers and journalists. The audience had the opportunity to learn about the main objective of the campaign, to get information about the quality of European poultry products as well as to get more information about the meat production and processing.

The representatives of the Agricultural Poultry Cooperative of Ioannina PINDOS, the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Andreas Dimitriou and the Director of Research – Development and Factory Operation, Mr. Ioannis Patounas provided the audience with valuable insight on the process of producing high quality European poultry. In addition, they highlighted the activities of the Cooperative and the specific features of agricultural production methods, particularly in terms of traceability, authenticity, nutritional aspects, respect for the environment and sustainability.

Moreover, the event was attended by two representatives from the official Greek authorities in Doha, Head of Greek Diplomacy in Qatar, Ambassador Mrs Eleni Michalopoulou.
